Hello family! It's been almost an hour since you all said goodbye so I am writing just to let you all know that I have made it safely. When I got here I was immediately whisked off to get all set up. I got all of my name tags and materials for my 10-week stay here. I went to my room and set my stuff down (since I was the first one here I got the bottom bunk, YAY!)
They took me to my class and the teachers (老师）all started speaking Mandarin to me and my 5 years didn't do me hardly any good haha. But like I said I am here to learn it for real so I am ready to get started.
Since this email is only to let you know that I made it safely I don't have much else to say so I will sign off!
