This week was a lot better than last week! We were able to meet with a lot of people and were able to get a lot of them to Church! One of our Investigators came to church for the first time yesterday after we gave her a church tour on Saturday. We have been meeting with her for several months now and were very excited to see her there! Then we have another investigator who is being buffeted by Satan hardcore. She set a Baptismal date of July 29 and is determined to make it! She has been wading through hell and high water to make it and is doing amazing. She has faith to rival the pioneers in my opinion. So we will be praying for her! Also, there was a lesson with a less-active family that did not go as planned. The Spirit took the reins and we straight up rebuked, lovingly, this couple. It was not my personality at all to do so, but the message came across clearly, and the added tidbit of the two nearest temples closing indefinitely (Raleigh and Washington DC, meaning the saints here will have to travel to either Colombia South Carolina or Atlanta Georgia to worship. The saints in the northern end of the mission will most likely go to Philadelphia) was some added motivation to make it to the Temple! All of these people made it to church! So it was a good week!
We did a lot of service this week - stained a fence! It took a long time but it looked really good after! Also, we helped a member who we are close with paint a room. We did most of the trim. Going from UNC Dark Blue to white was no small endeavor! We are trying hard to improve the relationship of the missionaries with the members in this ward.
